Chef’s Tip
Brew the tea according to the package directions, then chill it completely before assembling the drink. Black tea gives the Peach Balsamic Iced Tea a deeper, more traditional iced-tea character and stands up especially well to bourbon, while green tea creates a lighter, more delicate version that pairs particularly well with vodka. Starting with fully chilled tea also minimizes melting ice and unnecessary dilution.
Flavor Variations
• Lemon: Replace the Peach White Balsamic with Lemon White Balsamic for a brighter, citrus-forward iced tea. Reduce or omit the fresh lemon juice, then adjust to taste.
• Pear: Replace the Peach White Balsamic with Pear White Balsamic for a softer, delicate orchard-fruit version.
• Fresh Peach: Lightly muddle 2–3 thin fresh peach slices in the bottom of the glass before adding the ice for additional fresh peach character.
• Mint Peach Tea: Lightly bruise 3–4 fresh mint leaves before adding the tea for a cool herbal finish.
• Sparkling Peach Tea: Replace 2 ounces of the chilled tea with 2 ounces chilled sparkling water or club soda. Add the sparkling water last and stir gently.
Pairings

Recipe Notes
Peach White Balsamic already contributes both fruit flavor and sweetness, so make the drink without honey first and taste it before adding any additional sweetener.
If honey is needed, thinning it with an equal amount of warm water makes it much easier to incorporate into the cold tea without leaving undissolved honey at the bottom of the glass.
For the cocktail, black tea is especially good with bourbon, while either black or green tea works well with vodka. Assemble the drink immediately before serving so the ice does not unnecessarily dilute the tea.
