Mango Balsamic Yogurt Parfait

Mango Balsamic Yogurt Parfait

Mango Balsamic Yogurt Parfait

Description

Creamy Greek yogurt, ripe mango, crunchy granola, and Mango White Balsamic come together in a bright tropical parfait. The balsamic brings sweet-tangy mango flavor directly into the yogurt, while a fresh finish over the fruit keeps each layer lively without needing additional sweetener.

Recipe Overview

Servings: 2
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: None
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Mango White Balsamic, divided
¾ cup ripe fresh mango, cut into small cubes
⅓ cup granola
2 tablespoons toasted unsweetened coconut flakes, optional
Fresh mint leaves, optional

Instructions

• Place the Greek yogurt in a small bowl. Stir in 1 tablespoon Mango White Balsamic until smooth and evenly combined. Taste before adding anything else; ripe mango and the balsamic should provide plenty of sweetness without needing honey.

• Divide about one-third of the yogurt between two small glasses, jars, or dessert bowls. Top each with a layer of fresh mango.

• Add another layer of yogurt, followed by more mango. Repeat until the yogurt and mango are used, finishing with mango on top.

• Add the granola immediately before serving, either between the final layers or scattered generously over the top. This keeps it crisp rather than allowing it to soften in the yogurt.

• Finish the parfaits with the remaining 1 teaspoon Mango White Balsamic, drizzling it primarily over the fresh mango. Add toasted coconut and fresh mint if desired. Serve immediately.

Chef’s Tip

Keep the granola out of the parfait until just before serving. The yogurt and mango can be layered ahead and refrigerated, but granola quickly loses its crunch once it sits against moist ingredients. For the strongest Mango White Balsamic flavor, mix most into the yogurt and reserve a small amount to finish the fresh fruit.

Flavor Variations

• Coconut White Balsamic can replace Mango White Balsamic for a creamy tropical variation; finish with toasted coconut for an especially natural pairing.
• Pineapple White Balsamic can replace Mango White Balsamic for a brighter tropical version that pairs beautifully with fresh mango.
• Peach White Balsamic can replace Mango White Balsamic for a softer stone-fruit variation; try peaches or nectarines in place of some of the mango.
• Add chopped pistachios, almonds, chia seeds, or toasted coconut for additional crunch and texture.

Pairings

Serve as a light dessert, breakfast, or afternoon snack. For dessert, pair with fresh berries or additional tropical fruit; for breakfast, serve alongside fresh fruit, toast, or a simple cup of coffee or tea.

Complete Your Dessert

Build a fresh tropical parfait around Mango White Balsamic

Keep the parfait simple enough for the ripe mango and balsamic to remain recognizable, then use crunchy toppings and fresh fruit for contrast.

Finished Dessert

Greek yogurt layered with ripe mango and granola, finished with Mango White Balsamic, toasted coconut, and fresh mint

Dessert Base

Thick plain Greek yogurt gives the parfait a creamy, tangy base that balances the sweet mango and Mango White Balsamic

Fruit, Sauce & Garnish

Fresh ripe mango, a final drizzle of Mango White Balsamic, toasted coconut, mint, or a handful of fresh berries

Flavor Pairing

Mango White Balsamic reinforces the fresh mango while its acidity brightens the rich yogurt and keeps the parfait from tasting overly sweet

Recipe Notes

Plain Greek yogurt is preferred because it lets you control the sweetness of the parfait and gives Mango White Balsamic a clearer role. If using vanilla yogurt, taste before adding the balsamic and expect a sweeter finished dessert.

The Mango White Balsamic is divided intentionally. One tablespoon is mixed directly into the yogurt so its flavor runs through the entire parfait, while the final teaspoon is added fresh over the mango for a brighter finish.

No honey is needed when the mango is ripe. If your fruit is unusually tart, taste the assembled parfait first and add only a small amount of honey if you genuinely want additional sweetness.

For make-ahead parfaits, layer only the yogurt and mango, cover, and refrigerate. Add granola, the final balsamic drizzle, and any toasted coconut immediately before serving so the contrasting textures stay intact.
