Roasted Pears with Pear White Balsamic & Vanilla

Roasted Pears with Pear White Balsamic & Vanilla

Description:
These roasted pears are warm, simple, and elegant. Pear White Balsamic enhances the natural sweetness of the fruit while keeping the dessert light and balanced. A touch of olive oil adds richness without heaviness, making this an easy dessert that feels special without being complicated.

Ingredients:
4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
1½ tablespoons Arbequina Olive Oil
¼ cup Pear White Balsamic Vinegar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional garnish: vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or chopped nuts

Instructions:
• Preheat the oven to 400°F.
• Place the pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
• Drizzle evenly with Arbequina Olive Oil.
• Roast for 25–30 minutes, until the pears are tender and lightly caramelized.
• Remove from the oven and drizzle the Pear White Balsamic over the warm pears.
• Return to the oven for 3–5 minutes, just until the balsamic warms and becomes glossy.
• Remove from the oven, drizzle with vanilla extract, and serve warm.

Chef’s Tips:
• Choose pears that are ripe but still firm so they hold their shape.
• Add the balsamic near the end so it enhances sweetness without reducing too far.
• This dessert works just as well served on its own or with a simple topping.

Flavor Variations:
• Swap Arbequina Olive Oil for Butter Olive Oil for a richer, more indulgent finish.
• Swap Arbequina Olive Oil for Meyer Lemon Olive Oil for a brighter, lightly citrus finish.
• Finish with an extra drizzle of Pear White Balsamic at the table for brighter flavor.

Pairings:
Vanilla ice cream, mascarpone, whipped cream, shortbread cookies, or toasted walnuts or pecans.
