White Pear Balsamic & Goat Cheese Crostini




Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons white pear balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1-2 fresh pears, thinly sliced
  • Fresh thyme leaves or microgreens for garnish (optional)
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Crostini:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Brush both sides of the baguette slices lightly with olive oil.
  • Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy. Let cool slightly.

2. Make the Balsamic Drizzle:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the white pear balsamic vinegar and honey until well combined.

3. Assemble the Crostini:

  • Spread a generous layer of goat cheese onto each toasted baguette slice.
  • Top with a thin slice of fresh pear.
  • Drizzle each crostini with the balsamic-honey mixture.
  • Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt and fresh thyme leaves or microgreens for garnish.

4. Serve:

  • Arrange on a platter and serve immediately as a beautiful appetizer or snack.
